Crystal Dreams

I just made this bracelet yesterday for Lan, as I promised to give her a birthday present, although her birthday was already passed. Well, she is moving to Canada after her degree, so I think we don't have much time to meet each other, this bracelet is like a souvenir for her. When I gave it to her this morning, I was very gald that she likes it. It always make me happy when someone likes the things I make. Well, it gives me a sense of fulfilment.

I was planning to set up a club in my university about jewellery making, but I'm very busy in my practicals and lecture courses. I don't think I really have times to set it up, plus I'm a bit getting fed up with everything. Maybe I should take a break >_<

Spring of Flower

Getting mad with my practical works and lecture courses. All these works are killing me, so my only joy is surfing the internet for some inspirations so I can make something nice and great later on for the Christmas.

Well, the flower pendant is made of mother of pearl and faceted rose quartz. I also made a pair of matching earrings, but I gave the earrings and necklace to my friend in Malaysia, so I couldn't take a picture of them now. In fact, I took this picture a long long while ago. Well, I have the method from a Japanese website,
Beads Mania. The recipe section has a lot of projects.

I just amend the diagram so you can read in English.

Snow White

Simple and elegant necklace made especially for party or wedding, it's also great to be worn casually. I'm particularly interested in making jewelry that looks grand and elegant. Because, I always think of making them for my mother. She's a great mother and I want her to look great all the times. However, this one isn't really suit her, I think it suits someone youthful, yet elegant.

I don't keep the jewelry I made with me, instead I gave them to the friends around me and to my sisters as well. I didn't realise that until my brother asked me a week ago, he said I'm wasting time and money. Well, I don't think so as I get lots of fun and there is also a sense of fulfilment and achievement when I can make someone happy. Well, I haven't given this necklace to anybody as I haven't found its owner, so I might just keep the necklace until I find the right one.

As my course is very demanding, I don't have time drawing out the method, so if anyone interested in anything I made can e-mail me or leave me a message, then I'll try my best to help. I would certainly post it out on my blog if I draw out any method. I'll also try my best not to miss out too many posts.

Chunky Quartz

Sorry to miss out so many posts recently. Well, my college has started so I don't have much time in jewelry making. I'm busy doing practical works in the lab and struggling the lecture courses.

These are too easily made chunky pendants, each one is on a long chain which you can wear with any outfit. Well, I think it suits best with knitwear. You can simply make this with a long head pin and a chunky faceted stone. The colour and size of the stone is your choice, make some different ones and you can interchange the pendants which the colour of your cloth and mood.

Sparkling Green

I have bought some beads from the bead shop in Covent Garden, so simply make a pair of earrings. The earrings were extremely simple to make, all you need are a pair of eye pins with ball and a pair of faceted drop beads. Well, I think the eye pins have to be thick, 0.8mm thick would be ideal. Try make ones for yourself or they'll be a great gift for the one you love and care.

Heart with Flowers

I bought the rose beads a long time ago, I couldn't think of what to make by that time. So when I saw the red round beads with textures in London, I remember I have seen a heart motif made of these materials from a bead book I bought last year. Although I didn't follow the method exactly from the book, the result wasn't too bad. In fact, I'm quite pleased with that. I can attach it with a mobile phone strap, it can then be hanged on a mobile phone or on a handbag.

Earrings Holder

My college has just started so I don't have many times in jewellery making. That's why I miss out so many posts this week. Well, I made an earrings holder today, this was from a japanese bead book. As I don't have many spare times, I just used the diagram from the book and added some explanations in English. This was very simple to make, yet decorate your place nicely. Try out using other beads and colours.
